“Our hearts and thoughts are with all the victims affected by the disaster in Aceh, West Sumatra and North Sumatra,” wrote Lille on Instagram by uploading a photo of the Indonesian national team defender, Calvin Verdonk.
Flash floods and landslides are hitting North Sumatra, West Sumatra and Aceh.The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) recorded a total of 303 deaths.

A total of 166 fatalities came from North Sumatra (North Sumatra), 90 people died in West Sumatra, while Aceh has so far recorded 47 fatalities.
Flash floods submerged dozens of districts and cities in three provinces on Sumatra Island, namely North Sumatra, Aceh and West Sumatra in the last few days.
“At the moment we feel that there are our brothers and sisters who are experiencing grief, disaster, as a result of natural disasters that have occurred in several places in our archipelago, most recently in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra. Of course we pray that they will always be protected by the Almighty, and their sorrow and suffering will be eased,” said Prabowo in his speech on National Teachers’ Day, Jakarta, Friday (28/11).
Prabowo emphasized that the government would not remain silent and had moved quickly from the first day of the incident.He said the government distributed aid via land and air.He said this was to ensure that aid immediately reached residents affected by the disaster.

“But the conditions are very difficult. Many are cut off, the weather is still not possible. Sometimes our helicopters and planes have difficulty landing,” he said.
Prabowo said that so far the government had sent aid via three Hercules C-130 aircraft and one A-400 aircraft.He ensured that aid deliveries would be carried out continuously by adjusting to needs in the field.
