To ensure humanitarian aid reaches isolated areas, the Central Aceh Police distributed logistical assistance to residents affected by natural disasters in three sub-districts in the Central Aceh Regency area, Wednesday (24/12/2025).
The distribution of aid was carried out in Ketol District, Bintang District, and Rusip Antara District.This activity was led directly by the Central Aceh Police Chief AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by the main official (PJU), Bhabinkamtibmas personnel, and the Aceh Police Mobile Brigade Unit.
In Ketol District, the Police Chief directly led the distribution of aid to Burlah Village, Bintang Pepara Village, Kekuyang Village, and Buge Ara Village.The delivery of aid was centered on the river bank in the Burlah Village area, which is still isolated due to the breakage of the main access bridge.

Apart from dozens of basic food packages, the Central Aceh Police also distributed assistance in the form of steel wire mesh from the National Police Chief, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, to help with crossing access and facilitate logistics distribution to affected areas.This assistance was received directly by the Burlah Village Head and local village heads.
To reach villages where only two-wheeled vehicles can pass, dozens of National Police motorbikes were deployed as a means of transporting aid.This step was taken as a solution to the difficult terrain and limited road access in the three sub-districts.
Apart from village officials, the Central Aceh Police Department’s Bhabinkamtibmas staff also distributed aid directly to residents using the door to door method.This activity is accompanied by dialogue and providing moral support to strengthen residents affected by the disaster.
Central Aceh Police Chief AKBP Muhamad Taufiq said that this activity was a form of Polri’s concern and empathy for people who were facing disaster.
“Hopefully this assistance can slightly ease the burden on our brothers and sisters affected by the disaster, as well as provide hope and enthusiasm to remain strong in facing trials,” said the Police Chief.
Village officials and the community receiving aid expressed their appreciation and thanks to the Central Aceh Police for the attention and assistance provided in this difficult situation.
