The Signal application is an official application from Korlantas Polri in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Jasa Raharja, Bapenda, and Himbara bank which makes it easy for users to take care of annual STNK and pay motor vehicle tax (PKB + SWDKLLJ) online.
Here are the steps you can follow to check your car or vehicle tax on the SIGNAL application:
– Download the Signal application on Google Play Store or App Store
– Register an account by filling in the requested data
– Select the “NRKB” (Motor Vehicle Registration Number) menu
– Click “Continue”
– View information on SKK (Determination of Liability), PKB (Motor Vehicle Tax), and SWDKLLJ (Mandatory Contribution to Road Traffic Accident Funds) along with the amount of tax that must be paid.
With this application, you don’t need to bother going to Samsat to check vehicle tax or pay vehicle tax.
2. Via SMS
You can use this method if your cellphone is not connected to the internet.This method requires us to send a message so make sure you have credit first.
But it should be noted, this system cannot help you to pay taxes automatically.This method only makes it easier for you to check the amount of motor vehicle tax.
– Open the SMS menu on your cellphone.
– Type a message in the format: info [space] police number/plate code/motorcycle plate serial code/motorcycle color.
– Send a message to number 08112119211.
– Wait for an SMS reply containing information on the amount of vehicle tax that must be paid.
3. Samsat website
The next method you can try is via the Samsat website.To be able to access this site, you must have a device connected to the internet.
Samsat has several official websites that you can open.Each website is differentiated by province.So, if you want to check your vehicle tax, make sure you go to the same site as the province where your vehicle is registered.
The following are the steps to check vehicle tax on the official Samsat website.
Visit the provincial Samsat website according to your area.
