The impact of fighting between the two countries extends to coastal areas in the disputed border region.The dispute comes two days after United States President Donald Trump said the two sides had agreed to a new ceasefire.
The two Southeast Asian neighbors have fought several wars since a Cambodian soldier was killed in clashes in May.This incident has re-ignited conflict that has caused hundreds of thousands of people to flee on both sides of the border.

Thai military commanders have discussed blocking fuel exports to Cambodia, including having the navy be on alert for ships carrying strategic supplies and designating maritime zones near Cambodian ports as “high risk”.
“There are currently no orders regarding these steps,” said Captain Nara Khunkothom, assistant spokesperson for the Royal Thai Navy, as reported by Reuters, Sunday (14/12).
He added the issue would be discussed at a security meeting on Monday.
Thailand’s energy ministry said on Friday that Thailand had stopped oil exports to Cambodia since June.According to data from the Ministry of Energy, Thailand last year exported 2.2 billion liters of fuel to Cambodia.

Cambodia accused Thailand of attacking civilian infrastructure, including the use of fighter jets and shelling civilian areas.Thailand says it only targets military targets.
Thailand announced a curfew in southeastern Trat province on Sunday as fighting continued along the two countries’ 817 km long border.
A soldier and a civilian were killed by a BM-21 rocket fired by Cambodia on Sunday, Thai authorities said.
At least 16 soldiers and 10 civilians have been killed and hundreds injured since the latest clashes began on Monday with 258,626 civilians displaced, according to Thai authorities.
Cambodia reported no new deaths or injuries on Sunday.According to Cambodia’s Interior Ministry, at least 11 people have been killed, 74 injured and 394,706 people have been displaced since Monday.
Thai troops said Saturday they had destroyed a bridge Cambodia used to transport heavy weapons and other equipment to the region and launched an operation targeting artillery in Cambodia’s coastal province of Koh Kong.
“Overall, there have been continuous clashes” since Cambodia reiterated its openness to a ceasefire on Saturday, Thai Defense Ministry spokesman Rear Admiral Surasant Kongsiri said at a press conference in Bangkok on Sunday.
