Panel of Judges at the Corruption Crime Court (

) at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN) did not receive a note of objection or exception from the former Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA)
Nurhadi Abdurrachman
in cases of alleged gratification and Money Laundering (TPPU).
“Judgment: stating that the objection from defendant Nurhadi’s legal advisor cannot be accepted,” said Chief Judge Fajar Kusuma Aji when reading out the interim decision at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Monday (15/12).
The judge ordered the KPK prosecutor to continue examining case number: 126/Pid.Sus-TPK/2025/PN.Jkt.Pst on behalf of Nurhadi based on the public prosecutor’s indictment number: 56/TUT.01.04/24/11/2025.

“Suspend case costs until the final decision,” said the judge.
Nurhadi was charged with receiving gratuities amounting to IDR 137 billion.The prosecutor said that Nurhadi received the gratuities from litigants in the court environment, both at the first level, appeal, cassation and judicial review.
Nurhadi received gratuities during the period July 2013 to 2019, when he served as Secretary of the Supreme Court.
Not only that, Nurhadi was also charged with laundering money amounting to Rp. 307 billion and US$ 50 thousand.Nurhadi allegedly placed the money into a number of accounts and used it to buy land and building assets as well as a number of vehicles.
Prior to this, Nurhadi had served six years in prison and was sentenced to pay a fine of IDR 500 million, subsidiary to three months in prison.
Nurhadi was declared to have been legally and convincingly proven guilty according to the law of committing criminal acts of corruption in the form of bribery and receiving gratuities related to cases within the Supreme Court.
In the Supreme Court’s decision, the KPK prosecutor’s demand for compensation money amounting to IDR 83 billion was not granted by the panel of judges.
The anti-corruption agency investigation team recently arrested Nurhadi again at a time when he had just finished serving a criminal term for a bribery and gratification case at the Sukamiskin Correctional Institution (Lapas), Bandung, West Java.
The arrest was made in the early hours of Sunday (29/6) for the purposes of investigating the alleged TPPU case.
