The Director of Enforcement for Kortastipidkor Polri Brigadier General Totok Suharyanto said that Halim’s examination was the first after the person concerned was named a suspect.

Apart from Halim, next Wednesday Corruption Corruption Eradication Committee investigators also scheduled an examination of the suspect Hartanto Yohanes Lim, Director of PT Praba.
“On Wednesday, November 12 2025, suspect HK and suspect HYL (were summoned),” Totok told reporters, Friday (7/11).
Totok said that summons were also issued to the suspect RR as Director of PT Praba and Fahmi Mochtar, Director of PT BRN on Tuesday (11/11).
However, Totok said that until now there had been no confirmation of the presence of the four suspects regarding the examination schedule for next week.
“There is no (confirmation of attendance) yet,” he said.
The National Police’s Corruption Crime Corps has named four suspects in the alleged corruption case in the construction of PLTU 1 West Kalimantan for the 2008-2018 period.
The four suspects are Fachmi Mochtar as Director of PLN for the 2008-2009 period, President Director of PT BRN Halim Kalla, RR as Director of PT BRN and HYL as Director of PT Praba.
Fachmi Mochtar as Director of PT BRN is suspected of carrying out an evil conspiracy with three other suspects to win the tender.He is suspected of having passed the BRN-Alton-OJSEC KSO, even though he did not meet the administrative and technical requirements for building the PLTU.
Until the end of the BRN and PT PI KSO contracts, the PLTU project could only be completed 57 percent.The project was then given 10 extensions until 2018 but remained incomplete.
The latest data shows that the construction of PLTU 1 in West Kalimantan has only reached 85.56 percent.The development process was stalled because KSO BRN and PT PI argued that their finances were insufficient.
