The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) also confiscated IDR 500 million during an arrest operation (OTT) for the Regent of Ponorogo, East Java, Sugiri Sancoko (SUG).

According to Asep, the confiscation of the money started with a request for money by Sugiri Sancoko on November 3 2025.
Asep said that the Regent of Ponorogo asked the Director of the Regional General Hospital, Dr.Harjono Ponorogo Yunus Mahatma (YUM) amounting to IDR 1.5 billion.Then on November 6 2025, Sugiri Sancoko again collected the money.
On November 7 2025, Yunus Mahatma’s close friend with the initials IBP then coordinated with ED as an employee of Bank Jatim to disburse IDR 500 million.
“YUM will hand over the money to SUG through sister NNK as SUG’s relative,” he said.
On the same date, he said the KPK arrested 13 people as a result of handing over the money.Two of the 13 people were Sugiri Sancoko and Yunus Mahatma.
The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) announced that it had named four people as suspects in the alleged bribery case for office management and work projects at Dr.Harjono Ponorogo, and other receipts or gratuities within the Ponorogo Regency Government, East Java on November 9 2025.
The four people are the Regent of Ponorogo, Sugiri Sancoko (SUG), Director of RSUD Dr.Harjono Ponorogo Yunus Mahatma (YUM), Ponorogo Regional Secretary Agus Pramono (AGP), and Sucipto (SC) as private parties or partners of Ponorogo Regional Hospital.
In the alleged office management bribery cluster, the bribe recipients were Sugiri Sancoko and Agus Pramono.Meanwhile, the bribe giver was Yunus Mahatma.
