I also said that of course we would increase vigilance for public prosecutors who are currently carrying out their duties, carrying out prosecutions in activities or trials related to arrest cases in North Sumatra,” said Acting Deputy for Corruption Eradication and Execution of the Corruption Eradication Commission, Asep Guntur Rahayu, at the KPK Building, Jakarta, Monday (10/11).

Asep said the prosecutor in the case also received security from the KPK’s internal team.
“No one is there at the house. So the prosecutors who are here are staying there, but we are also equipped with friends who provide security from the KPK. So far, of course, we have included security guards from the KPK,” he said.
Asep said the KPK was concerned and supported the police investigating the incident.
“We are also concerned about the burning of the house of the judge handling the arrest case in Sumatra, a case handled by the Corruption Eradication Commission,” he said.
The house belonging to the Medan District Court (PN) Judge, Khamozaro Waruhu, in the Taman Harapan Indah Complex, Jalan Pasar II, Tanjung Sari Village, Medan Selayang District, Medan City, North Sumatra, was burnt down last week.
Khamozaro was the presiding judge in the trial of alleged corruption on a road project in North Sumatra with the defendant Akhirun Piliang alias Kirun, Main Director of PT Dalihan Natolu Group (DNG), and his son Muhammad Rayhan Dulasmi Piliang alias Rayhan, Director of PT Rona Na Mora (RNM).
This case also involved the former Head of the North Sumatra PUPR Service, Topan Ginting, who is known to be a close person to the Governor of North Sumatra, Bobby Nasution.The road corruption case is currently ongoing in the Corruption Court at the Medan District Court.
