explained the five problems being faced by the Indonesian people at this time in the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) Nasdem Party in Makassar, South Sulawesi.
“There are problems that we are experiencing today, such as geopolitical uncertainty, economic uncertainty, there is technological disruption, there are demographic changes and also environmental problems,” he said in a presentation in one of the series of NasDem Rakernas activities, Saturday (9/8).
The close man as the initials CT said that the current world condition in a situation of geopolitical uncertainty.
“We know that there are problems that have not been resolved between Middle Eastern countries, especially Israel and Iran, even though the war stops now but I am not sure that this will stop forever, as well as the Russian and Ukraine problems, then there is a Hamas problem with Israel. There is also Indian problem with Pakistan,” he said.
So according to Chairul Tanjung that geopolitical uncertainty will have an impact into the country.
“This problem can often trigger world -level instability will certainly result in domestic problems,” he said.
Chairul Tanjung also alluded to economic uncertainty after the election of the President of the United States (US) Donald Trump implemented the rules of raising import tariffs to the Uncle Sam’s country.
“We just found out, the presence of President Trump who was elected a second time by raising the tariff and we know that the tariffs that will be given will be very high, then negotiations are carried out which will affect our problems in the country,” he said.
AI to party work
In addition, Chairul Tanjung also alluded to the issue of technological disruption with current technological developments and the presence of an imitation reason (
Artificial Intelligence/
AI).
“Development in the field of technology is extraordinary, especially the name Artificial Intelligence or AI. We know this AI is very influential from lifestyle, business, economy, and so on,” he said.
According to CT, AI’s presence can now replace the tasks and work that can be done by humans, even the preparation of speeches for the party.
“A lot of workers will be replaced by AI. Party speeches can be asked at AI. Extraordinary changes to our lives,” he said.
Furthermore, related to the demographic changes in the word CT that generations Z and X will control 50 percent of the world’s population.So that in the 2029 elections later, 60 percent of voters are the generation.
“At present, the generation Z and X have controlled 50 percent of Indonesia’s population. Even in 2029 it will come in the elections to come. 60 percent of voters will contain generation Z and X, of course we must communicate with the public, of course different, because this generation has a different character,” he explained.
Finally, Chairul Tanjung discusses environmental problems that are currently often flood and landslides.
“This environmental problem cannot be underestimated, we now face the problem of drought, floods and tornadoes often occur without us knowing,” he said.
