Rosan said Lotte’s offer regarding these shares was still being reviewed, and the possibility of acquisition was in the range of 25-30 percent.

Regarding the investment value, Rosan said it was still being calculated.He emphasized that this negotiation process could not be carried out in a hurry.Because the transaction is large and requires in-depth study.
Danantara does not yet have a deadline for completing negotiations.However, Rosan ensured that the process was in accordance with precautionary principles.
“This is of great value, we definitely need to carry out due diligence first,” added Rosan.
Regarding the funding mechanism, Rosan explained that it was possible that Danantara would invest directly without going through BUMN.
Danantara is currently reviewing an offer to own a 35 percent stake in Lotte’s petrochemical project in Cilegon.Rosan received an offer for shares in the petrochemical project on the sidelines of the 2025 APEC Summit in the Agenas Room, Land Select Hotel Gyeongju, South Korea, at the end of last October.
Early last November, the Lotte Chemical Indonesia factory in Cilegon, Banten, was inaugurated by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
The investment value of this project reaches US$3.9 billion or around IDR 62.4 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of IDR 16.00 per US dollar), making it one of the largest petrochemical investments in the Southeast Asia region.
“By saying Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, this morning, Thursday 6 November 2025. I am Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, inaugurating the factory belonging to Lotte Chemical Indonesia,” said Prabowo at the inauguration ceremony, Thursday (6/11).
On that occasion, Prabowo said he invited the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to attend the inauguration event.
He emphasized that the factory he inaugurated today was built during the Jokowi leadership era.Prabowo said the factory was the result of Jokowi’s negotiations with South Korea at that time.
“He just apologized, he called me, he couldn’t come and I also said we understand,” he said.
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia said this project has an investment value of around US$4 billion or around IDR 64 trillion.
Bahlil also said that construction of the project in Cilegon had started in 2022 and began operating in October 2025.
