In the final match which took place at Jomtien Beach, Pattaya, Thursday (18/12), Dea beat six other rivals in running, swimming and shooting, which are the three events in the triathlon event.
Dea is above Malaysian, Thai and Filipino athletes.Indonesia fielded two athletes in this event.Apart from Dea, there is also Nurfa Inayah Nurul Qalbi.

Dea became Indonesia’s first gold winner in the modern pentathlon sport.Previously there was a donation of one silver and one bronze from this sport which came from Fadhil Aulia Mufti in the men’s individual laser run number and Vera Febrianti in the women’s individual laser run number.
Dea’s gold is the 79th for Indonesia.The Red and White Team only needs one more gold piece to meet the target previously set by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Based on data from the official SEA Games website, apart from collecting 79 gold, Indonesia as of 17.00 WIB also collected 89 silver and 100 bronze.

Indonesia’s rivals in the race for runner up position, Vietnam, are still in third place with 69 gold, 71 silver and 99 bronze.
Meanwhile, host Thailand, who is at the top of the standings, has collected 194 gold, 128 silver and 88 bronze.
