Terra Drone Building fire
in Cempaka Baru, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta (Jakpus) increased to 20 people.
“Currently, 20 victims have been successfully evacuated, five men and 15 women,” said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro to journalists, Tuesday (9/12).

Susatyo said that currently officers are still continuing to search the sixth floor of the building.So far, the search has been successful up to the fifth floor.
“Floors 4, 5 have been combed, currently it is heavy on the 6th floor. And indeed the conditions on the way to the 6th floor, according to information from Fire Department friends, are quite heavy,” he said.
Susatyo added that one of the victims who died in this fire was a pregnant woman.
“There are pregnant women victims. One of the victims is a pregnant woman,” he said.
A fire broke out at the Terra Drone Building located in Cempaka Baru, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta (Jakpus) on Tuesday (9/12) afternoon.The fire is thought to have started from a battery on the 1st floor of the building.
“At around 12.30 there was a battery on the 1st floor, that was the one that caught fire. Then it was extinguished by employees, then it turned out that the burning battery spread because on the 1st floor this is one of the warehouses,” said Susatyo.
At the time of the incident, employees were on their lunch break.Some employees were said to be outside, while others went up to floors two to six to rest.
“Then when it caught fire, the fire got bigger, then the smoke rose to the sixth floor,” said Susatyo.
