flood and landslide disaster management.The determination and handling operations will start from 27 November 2025 to 10 December 2025, valid for 14 days.
Acting Head of the Deliserdang Communications, Informatics, Statistics and Encryption Service (Kominfostan), Anwar Sadat Siregar, said that the determination of this emergency response status was based on Deliserdang Regent’s Decree Number 613 of 2025, dated November 29 2025.
“The flooding that occurred has submerged 30,609 residents’ houses, causing 52,100 heads of families (KK) or 170,760 people in 15 sub-districts to be affected,” said Anwar, Saturday (29/11).

According to him, the 15 sub-districts include Tanjung Morawa, Deli Tua, Sunggal, Namorambe, Hamparan Perak, Bangun Purba, Percut Sei Tuan, Sibolangit, Lubuk Pakam, Beringin, Batang Kuis, Patumbak, Galang, Pantai Labu, and Pancur Batu.
“Floods and landslides occurred in 15 sub-districts in Deliserdang Regency on Thursday, November 27 2025. As a result, 2,243 hectares (Ha) of rice fields were submerged,” he said.
For damage to facilities and infrastructure, including two embankments in Tanjung Morawa District that broke, two mosques and two state elementary schools (SD) were flooded.Two tourist attractions also suffered damage.
“Other infrastructure damage occurred in Sunggal District, precisely in Tanjung Selamat Village. The bridge connecting Hamlet I, I-A and II-A in the village was cut off,” he explained.
In Hamparan Perak District, the Kota Rantang and Klambir V Kebun Village Offices were damaged.Two schools and two health centers in both villages were also damaged.In Paya Bakung Village, the bridge was cut off at a river depth of 7 meters, resulting in community access being disrupted.
“In Sibolangit District, landslides that occurred in Hamlet I and II, Buah Nabar Village, caused the village road to be buried. Likewise in Hamlet III, Rumah Kinangkung SP Village, caused the village road to be buried by a landslide along 5 meters with a 1 meter pile,” he explained.
Meanwhile in Hamlet II, Suka Maju Village, the village road was cut off with a length of 50 meters and a depth of 25 meters.Meanwhile, a landslide in Bandar Baru Village resulted in one suspension bridge being damaged, and one house almost collapsing.
“In Batang Kuis District, eight schools and two places of worship were flooded, causing minor damage.
“In Patumbak District, precisely in Patumbak Kampung Village, there is a broken embankment with a depth of 3 meters,” he concluded.
