Apart from that, suspension of detention is also a pretrial object in the new KUHAP.

Eddy explained that the new Criminal Procedure Code also regulates that in the examination room, a suspect or witness when being questioned must be equipped with CCTV.
“So yes, it definitely provides something that investigators cannot be careless about in carrying out examinations,” he said.
