Arkamaya Apartment consumers previously submitted complaints to Commission VI of the DPR after feeling that there had been no significant development progress since ordering units in 2019.
In their complaint, consumers stated that the change in the project name from The Maj to Arkamaya occurred without direct notification from the developer.Several consumers stated that at the groundbreaking in 2019-2020, the project still used the name The Maj and was attended by representatives of The Maj Group.
Consumers also assess that communication with the developer does not provide certainty regarding the completion time of construction. They complained that they only interacted with the marketing department, and did not receive clear information regarding construction stages or handover targets.
Some consumers said that the completion schedule had been promised to be pushed back to 2022, but it was deemed that the project had not shown significant progress until now.
