“That the campus is a place of exploration of knowledge that must be protected. Friends do not stay silent campus are attacked by elements. Law enforcement officials both the police or TNI are all protected, as well as people who have human rights,” he said.
Responding to this matter, West Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Rudi said he was open to criticism and emphasized that all input from students would be used as evaluation material.
“As we hear together, I am grateful for input from the younger siblings of students. I am not anti-criticism, so I consider everything as a constructive, building, and God willing, we will follow up on,” Rudi said after the event.
Meanwhile, Dedi Mulyadi explained that this dialogue forum was deliberately held to facilitate students who wanted to express their opinions, criticisms to direct aspirations in front of the policy makers.

In the forum, Dedi admitted that he would immediately see the condition of students who are currently still being detained in the West Java Regional Police after the riots in the Unpas-Unisba campus area earlier this week.
“We want to go to the Regional Police, children who are still being detained to be immediately released, not only those in the Regional Police, in all Metro Police and Polres in West Java I ask students who experience detention to be released immediately,” he said.
“If the criminal one please continue with the criminal law. Anyone who meets the criminal elements is welcome, but those who do not meet the elements should not be forced,” he continued.
Dedi said that present at the forum at the Sate Building-based on data received-around 1,048 out of 143 universities throughout West Java.
