They are the results of a total of 236 participants who registered as KY candidates with the selection committee (Pansel) formed by the president.
“The selection committee determined 7 candidates for KY members who were declared to have passed and met the qualifications in accordance with the provisions of statutory regulations,” said Chairman of the Selection Committee, Dhahana Putra at Commission III of the DPR, Monday (17/11).

Dhahana explained that there are eight stages in the selection process for prospective KY members before undergoing a suitability test at the DPR.Starting from announcements and registration, administrative selection, quality selection, and profile assessment.
Then there is a track record assessment, community response, interview test and health test.However, on that occasion, he did not reveal the number of participants who took part in the selection.
“The results of the selection committee were sent via letter number B-61/PANSEL-KY/10/2025 dated October 2 2025. We have conveyed the results of the selection stage letter to the president which was carried out objectively,” he said.
Later, seven prospective KY members will undergo a marathon eligibility test at Commission III of the DPR today starting with taking serial numbers and writing papers.

in Commission III of the DPR, it is the result of the filtering of the panel formed by the President.Previously, the selection committee had opened registration for prospective KY members for the 2025-2030 term of office on 2-23 June 2025.
During that time, the panel received 236 participants and 176 of them passed the quality selection stage.However, only 166 candidates attended the quality selection on July 8 2025.
From the quality selection, the panel selected 42 names who then continued to take part in the profile assessment selection.The results of the assessment selection passed 21 names to then take part in interview selection and medical tests.
Based on the selection series, seven names were selected to be proposed to the DPR
