Justin Hubner was suspended for three matches due to the horror tackle he made when Fortuna Sittard was defeated by Ajax 1-3 in the Eredivisie, Sunday (7/12) early morning WIB.
Hubner started the match from the bench when Fortuna Sittard hosted Ajax Amsterdam at the Offermans Joosten Stadium in Week 15 of the Dutch League.

The Indonesian national team defender was actually only played at the start of the second half when the score was still tied at 1-1.Hubner received a red card after tackling Rayane Bounida from behind with both feet and was sent off.
Two Dutch League legends who are now commentators on ESPN, Kenneth Perez and Karim El Ahmadi, agreed with the referee’s decision to give Justin Hubner a red card.
“The skinny ones… I’ve also seen them do things [those tackles] in Indonesia,” Perez was quoted as saying

“He always does something ‘crazy’ when he is allowed to play,” added El Ahmadi.
This red card meant that Hubner only played a total of approximately 8 minutes since entering the second half.The 3-1 score for Ajax’s victory lasted until the match ended.
This is Hubner’s first red card since joining Fortuna Sittard in 2025. The 22-year-old defender has often played as a substitute in his 10 appearances in the Eredivisie this season.
The playing opportunity given by Fortuna Sittard coach, Danny Buijs, was not able to be utilized optimally against Ajax.Hubner committed a dangerous foul which actually harmed his team.
