Successive accidents
occurred in the Tanjung Priok area, precisely Jalan Swasembada Barat, Koja, West Jakarta, Sunday (16/11) afternoon, involving a
electric car
with three carts, three motorbikes, and pedestrians.
The incident occurred at around 12.30 WIT, when a BYD electric vehicle with plate number B1867AZL driving from south to north collided with the driver of a Vario B4267UFC motorbike.

The BYD driver kept going after the incident, but the car swerved to the left and hit two motorcyclists, three trade carts and a pedestrian.The car only stopped when it hit the fence of a resident’s house.
“As a result of the traffic accident, 5 people were injured, vehicles and carts as well as house fences were damaged,” said North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Traffic Unit Head Akp Edy Wibowo, Sunday.
Edy confirmed that no one died in the accident.Police are still investigating the true cause of the series of accidents.
The police have also confiscated a number of pieces of evidence, including 1 BYD car and 2 Vario motorbikes.The injured victims have been taken to the nearest hospital for treatment.
