died at the age of 61 on Wednesday (3/12).The sad news was revealed by Karina Ranau as his wife through uploads on social media.There is no detailed information regarding the cause of Epy Kusnandar’s departure.

“Rakhmatullah Epy Kusnandar bin Erning Sutarsa has passed away,” read the condolence announcement.
However, Epy Kusnandar joked that he would leave when he was 61 years old.The joke was delivered after he managed to survive after being diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2010.
At that time, doctors predicted Epy would only last four months.However, he proved he could fight against it and continue his career more than a decade later.He is grateful to be given the opportunity every time he gets older.

Epy Kusnandar is known as a senior actor who has been involved in the world of Indonesian entertainment for decades.He entered the world of acting through the soap opera 1 sister 7 Ponakan in 1996.
He also took part in a number of film, FTV and soap opera projects.However, his acting that is best known to the general public is when he played Kang Mus in the soap opera and film Preman Pensiun.
