Epy Kusnandar is known as a senior actor who has been involved in the world of Indonesian entertainment for decades.He entered the world of acting through the soap opera 1 sister 7 Ponakan in 1996.
He also took part in a number of film, FTV and soap opera projects.However, his acting that is best known to the general public is when he played Kang Mus in the soap opera and film Preman Pensiun.

The man who was born in Garut, West Java, has been known to be active on the theater stage since he was still in high school, before continuing his education at the Jakarta Arts Institute (IKJ).
Epy is considered to have a unique personality when acting, thus leaving a strong impression in the audience’s memory because of his strong character.
Died at the age of 61, it turns out that Epy not only worked in the world of acting, but he also released songs with the titles Not a Man of Steel in 2010 and Wounded Love in 2013.
Throughout his career in the world of acting in Indonesia, Epy Kusnandar won a prestigious award at the 2012 Indonesian Film Festival in the category of Best Supporting Actor in a FTV Male.

Before being diagnosed with a brain tumor, Epy Kusnandar was vomiting, had a fever, and was unconscious while driving.After a CT scan, according to his wife, Karina, it was revealed that there was a tumor in Epy’s brain.
Apart from that, another dark story from Epy Kusnandar came on May 9 2024, when he was arrested by the police for a drug abuse case.At that time, Epy was arrested along with another artist with the initials YG who was also his co-star in the soap opera Preman Pensiun.
The passing of Epy Kusnandar left deep sorrow for his family, relatives, friends, fellow artists, and even the people of the country who were familiar with his works.
