Dualism or the formation of two managements
Indonesian Sepak Takraw Association
(PSTI) was confirmed to have ended, Tuesday (9/11).
Menpora Erick Thohir confirmed the end of PSTI dualism after receiving letters from KONI and KOI.PSTI led by Surianto was designated as the legal management party.
“I have received a letter of acknowledgment of the PSTI management for the 2025-2029 period from KOI and a KONI decision letter regarding the inauguration of PB PSTI personnel,” said Erick, Tuesday (9/12).

Erick appreciated the success of KONI and KOI in ending the dualism of PSTI management.With the end of dualism, Indonesian sepak takraw can focus again on the path of achievement.
“I really appreciate the success of KONI, KOI and the management sitting together, deliberating to reach consensus, introspecting and resolving the problem of dualism,” he said.
Furthermore, Erick hopes that the sports that are still at odds, namely table tennis, fencing and boxing, will also sit together.Dualism or tripleism in management will soon be ended.
Erick gave problematic sports an ultimatum to resolve their internal problems by the end of this month.If not, Erick will intervene.
“I again remind the three other sports, namely fencing, boxing and table tennis, to immediately resolve the limit problem by the end of December,” said Erick.
“If it is still not finished, I will take over to finish it so that there are no more divisions for the sake of our sporting achievements,” said the general chairman of PSSI in an official release from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
