assesses that the Indonesian U-17 National Team’s struggle against Brazil U-17 at the 2025 U-17 World Cup in Qatar was optimal.
The Indonesian U-17 national team lost 0-4 to Brazil in the second match of Group H of the 2025 U-17 World Cup on the 7 Aspire Zone field, Friday (7/11).
“The Indonesian U-17 national team has tried their best even though they had to admit Brazil’s superiority in the second match of the group phase of the 2025 U-17 World Cup,” said Erick, quoted from his personal Instagram after the match.

Brazil took a 3-0 lead over the U-17 Indonesian National Team in the first half.Brazil’s goals in the first half were scored by Luis Eduardo in the third minute, an own goal by I Putu Panji (33′), and Felipe Morais (39′).
Meanwhile, in the media round, Brazil was only able to increase their lead through Ruan Pablo’s spectacular shot in the 75th minute.
Brazil remains at the top of Group H with 6 points after winning twice.The winning trend was also followed by Zambia, which won 5-2 over Honduras.Zambia occupies second place in Group H with six points.

Meanwhile, due to the defeat to Brazil, Indonesia remains in third place in the standings with zero points.Meanwhile, fourth place in Group H is occupied by Honduras, also with zero points.
“Whatever results the U-17 National Team achieves, we will continue to support the U-17 National Team which has brought Indonesia’s name to compete on the world stage,” said Erick.
“The struggle is not over, there is still one group phase match against Honduras. Keep up the enthusiasm,” added Erick.
The Indonesian U-17 national team will play their third match in Group H against Honduras on Monday (10/11).
