One of the Irish media said that Indonesia was targeting a coach from Iceland named
Heimir Hallgrimsson
who has a track record as a coach at the 2018 World Cup.
Currently, Hallgrimsson is listed as the coach of the Republic of Ireland which is currently struggling in the 2026 World Cup qualification in the European zone.
In the midst of Ireland’s struggle to enter next year’s world football festival, rumors emerged about Hallgrimsson being eyed by Indonesia.

According to news agencies, Indonesia is looking for a coach after no longer using the services of Patrick Kluivert, who only lasted nine months of his two-year contract.
