on Thursday (11/12) evening.
The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) uncovered the Ardito case through a Hand Arrest Operation (OTT) which was held on 9-10 December 2025 in the Lampung and Jakarta areas.
Ardito is now in Jakarta, wearing an orange vest as a corruption suspect, and is being detained by the Corruption Eradication Commission.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) named a total of five people as suspects in the alleged corruption case related to the Procurement of Goods and Services (PBJ) and the receipt of gratuities within the Central Lampung Regency Government.
They are the Regent of Central Lampung Ardito Wijaya, Member of the Central Lampung DPRD Riki Hendra Saputra, the regent’s younger brother Ranu Hari Prasetyo, the Acting Head of the Central Lampung Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) and a relative of the regent named Anton Wibowo, and the Director of PT Elkaka Mandiri (EM) Mohamad Lukman Sjamsuri.
Detention 20 days
The Corruption Eradication Commission detained the suspects for the first 20 days from 10 to 29 December 2025.
Suspects Riki Hendra Saputra and Mohamad Lukman Sjamsuri are being held at the KPK State Detention Center (Rutan) Red and White Building Branch.
Meanwhile, Ardito, Ranu Hari Prasetyo, and Anton Wibowo were detained at the KPK Detention Center Branch, Anti-Corruption Education Center Building.
Ardito, Anton, Riki Hendra, and Ranu Hari are suspected of violating Article 12 letter a or Article 12 letter b or Article 11 or Article 12 B of the Corruption Eradication Law (UU Tipikor) in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
Meanwhile, Mohamad Lukman Sjamsuri is suspected of violating Article 5 paragraph 1 letter a or letter b or Article 13 of the Corruption Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
The Regent received IDR 5.75 billion
According to the Corruption Eradication Committee, Ardito, as Regent of Central Lampung for the 2025-2030 period, received alleged bribes amounting to IDR 5.75 billion.Ardito also allegedly received gratuities.
In the period February-November 2025, Ardito allegedly received fees worth IDR 5.25 billion from a number of partners or providers of goods and services through Central Lampung Regency DPRD members Riki Hendra Saputra and Ranu Hari Prasetyo as his younger siblings.
Apart from that, Ardito also received a fee of IDR 500 million from Mohamad Lukman Sjamsuri as Director of PT Elkaka Mandiri (EM) for conditioning the project auction for three packages of medical equipment procurement at the Central Lampung Health Service worth IDR 3.15 billion.
Pay off campaign debt
The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) said Ardito used money from corruption, one of which was to pay campaign debts.
“The regent’s operational funds amount to IDR 500 million, repayment of bank loans which are thought to be for campaign needs in 2024 amount to IDR 5.25 billion,” said KPK Deputy for Action and Execution Mungki Hadipratikto in a press conference at the Red and White House.
Harassing journalists
Ardito was caught teasing one of the female journalists when he was about to be taken to the KPK State Detention Center (Rutan), Branch of the Anti-Corruption Education Center Building or C1.
Initially, Ardito and four other suspects were shown by the KPK in the press conference room.After the press conference was over, Ardito et al were taken to the KPK Detention Center.
When confirmed by journalists about the alleged corruption crime that the Corruption Eradication Committee was accused of, Ardito did not give an answer and instead smiled while teasing a woman who was a television journalist.
“You are beautiful today,” he said with a smile before entering the detention car at the KPK’s Red and White Building.
He was still seen smiling when he got into the KPK detention car.
Golkar legal assistance
The Golkar Party, through its Deputy General Chair, Ahmad Doli Kurnia, stated that it adheres to the principle of the presumption of innocence after one of its cadres, namely Ardito, was named a suspect and detained.
Doli said the Golkar Party is ready to provide legal assistance if requested, although so far, cadres involved in legal cases have prepared their own legal representatives.
“Of course, as long as the person concerned needs legal assistance, we will prepare it,” said Doli.
Golkar, he said, did not want to pre-empt the legal process at the KPK, including the possibility that the party would take a stand regarding Ardito’s status as a cadre.Moreover, said Doli, Ardito is currently still a suspect.
“He’s still a suspect, he’s not a defendant yet. So, we’ll see what the next developments are like. Then we’ll take action,” he said.
