“The team also secured evidence of around IDR 900 million in cash,” said Corruption Eradication Commission spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the Red and White Building, Jakarta, Thursday (18/12).
The details of the nine people arrested were one prosecutor, two lawyers and six others from the private sector.However, the Corruption Eradication Commission has not revealed the details of the case.

Head of Subsection II Intelligence at the Tangerang Regency Prosecutor’s Office, Ilham Maulidy, heard that the KPK OTT had arrested one of their prosecutors.However, they are still confirming the truth.

The Attorney General’s Office recently took over handling the alleged extortion case involving prosecutors in the Banten region from the Corruption Eradication Commission.
Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the Corruption Eradication Commission, Asep Guntur Rahayu, explained that the Attorney General’s Office had already handled the alleged extortion case involving prosecutors in the Banten region who were caught in the OTT.
“We have handed over people and also evidence that we captured in the context of being caught red-handed,” he said.
Sprindik was published on KPK OTT day
The legal basis for consideration of the transfer of the case was the Investigation Order (Sprindik) which was issued on Wednesday, December 17 2025. On that day, the Corruption Eradication Committee carried out the OTT.
When confirmed regarding the timing of the publication of the Sprindik, the Secretary of the Deputy Attorney General for Intelligence (Ses JAM Intel) at the Attorney General’s Office, Sarjono Turin, claimed that his party was not aware of the OTT activities carried out by the KPK.
