at the South Jakarta Metro Police Detention Center.
This information was conveyed directly by Tugimin (71) as Alvaro’s grandfather.He said the perpetrator committed suicide after being arrested and detained at the South Jakarta Metro Police.
“Yes, the perpetrator himself turned out to be his stepfather. His stepfather has even now committed suicide, died, at the South Jakarta Police Station,” he told reporters, Sunday (23/11) evening.

Separately, Pesanggrahan Police Chief AKP Seala Syah Alam did not deny or confirm the statement from the family.He only said that information regarding the Alvaro case would be provided by the South Jakarta Metro Police.
“Later the police will provide complete and detailed information,” he said when confirmed via short message, Monday (24/11).
Meanwhile, South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Nicolas Ary Lilipaly was reluctant to comment first regarding the case.He reasoned that he was taking part in the Kasatwil Apple event in Cikeas until Wednesday (26/11).
Previously, the police arrested Alvaro’s stepfather who was missing for several months until he was finally found dead.
Nicolas said that the victim’s stepfather had also been named a suspect and was immediately detained.Even so, he has not revealed further details about the cause of Alvaro’s death.Including the chronology of the discovery of the victim’s body with only a skeleton remaining.
Alvaro was declared missing since March 6.The incident began when Alvaro received permission to perform Maghrib prayers at the mosque near his house in the Ulujami area, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta.
However, after the Maghrib prayer it turned out that Alvaro had not come home.So, the family looked for his whereabouts and his friend admitted that he was not with him when praying.
In the end, the family chose to report to the police to find Alvaro’s whereabouts.

Alvaro’s grandfather, Tugimin (71), suspects his grandson was kidnapped by a man claiming to be his father.Tugimin obtained this information from the marbut of the Al-Muflihun Mosque, where Alvaro was last seen.
