Now Lawrence appears in the same frame as Pattinson in their latest film, Die My Love, which was directed by Lynne Ramsay based on the novel of the same title by Ariana Hawricz.

Lawrence in the podcast The Rewatchables in 2023 once admitted that he was rejected by the studio when he auditioned for the role of Bella Swan for the film Twilight, starring Robert Pattinson.
At that time, he said he “didn’t get any more news” after auditioning until he finally found out that Kristen Stewart was the actress who got the role.
Now in Die My Love, Lawrence plays a young mother named Grace who experiences postpartum depression.Meanwhile, Pattinson became Grace’s partner, Jackson.
The conflict situation that occurred between the two then caused Grace to experience psychosis, or a collection of symptoms in which the sufferer finds it difficult to differentiate between reality and fantasy.
Variety said, on screen, Lawrence and Pattinson intensely cursed each other non-stop in a fierce war of words.Lawrence said it was in contrast to their relationship behind the scenes.
“My favorite part about working with him was probably that we could be in the same room, but not talk for a really long time,” Lawrence said.
“I really appreciate that in a colleague,” he said.

Die My Love premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and received mixed praise from critics.The film also received a Palme d’Or nomination at the festival.
The film was produced by Lawrence, Martin Scorsese, Justine Ciarrocchi, Molly Smith, Thad and Trent Luckinbill, and Andrea Calderwood.This film also stars LaKeith Stanfield, Nick Nolte, and Sissy Spacek.
Die My Love is planned to be shown in American cinemas starting November 7, 2025.
