The police decided not to detain Roy Suryo, Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar and Tifauzia Tyassuma or doctor Tifa, after examining them for approximately 9 hours on Thursday (13/11).
“The examination has been completed, the suspects have provided statements, after this we have allowed the three suspects to return to their respective homes,” said Director of Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Iman Imanuddin to journalists, Thursday (13/12).

Iman said the reason investigators did not detain Roy Suryo cs was because they presented witnesses and mitigating experts.
“We as investigators must maintain balance, information and information so that the law enforcement process is fair and balanced,” he said.
In this case, the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Budi Hermanto, said that there were hundreds of questions that investigators from the State Security Sub-Directorate asked the three suspects.
“The number of questions for suspect RH (Rismon) was 157 questions, for RS (Roy) 134 questions and for TT (Tifa),” he explained.
He also ensured that the examination of the three perpetrators was carried out according to procedures and regulations.Including, giving Roy Suryo Cs the right to worship and rest.
“Investigators carry out investigations using the principles of legality, procedural, proportional, professional, transparent, accountable, effective and efficient,” he said.
Previously, Polda Metro Jaya named eight suspects divided into two clusters in connection with the alleged case of Jokowi’s fake diploma.
The first cluster consists of five suspects, namely Eggi Sudjana, Kurnia Tri Rohyani, Damai Hari Lubis, Rustam Effendi and Muhammad Rizal Fadillah.
They were charged with Article 310 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 311 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 160 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 27a in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph 4 and/or Article 28 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 45a Paragraph 2 of the ITE Law.
Then the second cluster consisted of three suspects, namely Roy Suryo, Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar and Tifauziah Tyassuma alias Dr Tifa.
The three of them were charged with Article 310 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 311 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 32 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 48 paragraph 1 and/or Article 35 in conjunction with Article 51 paragraph 1 and/or Article 27a in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph 4 and/or Article 28 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 45a paragraph 2 of the ITE Law.
In this case, investigators said Roy Suryo cs had spread false accusations and misled the public.This conclusion is based on the results of examination of 130 witnesses and 22 experts, including an in-depth examination of 723 pieces of evidence.
“Investigators concluded that the suspects had spread false accusations and edited and digitally manipulated diploma documents using unscientific analysis methods and misleading the public,” said Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri in a press conference, Friday (7/11).
