Two corridors

currently being installed at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, with plans for a third corridor at Juanda International Airport, Surabaya.
In the first phase, priority use will be given to the elderly and passengers with special needs, who can register first via the All Indonesia application.

1. Initial Data Sharing: Passengers share their passport details in advance.
2. Background Check: The background check is completed before they arrive at the airport.
3. Final Authentication: The final authentication is performed when the passenger passes through the biometric corridor.

This is actually not something completely new for Indonesia.Previously, similar technology had been used to facilitate the entry of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
An estimated 220,000 people travel between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia every year.During the trial period, the corridor processed more than 30 border crossings per minute and served a total of 50,000 passengers.
