He said North Jakarta BPBD officers collaborated with the North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-Department to handle the flood.

“Personnel are on standby at the location to ensure the situation is safely under control,” said Vitus.
Meanwhile, in the area of Jalan Dermaga Ujung, RW 22, Muara Angke, Pluit Village, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta, until 10.19 WIB there was no flooding even though the water level at the Fish Market rose to 256 centimeters at around 09.00 WIB.
“At 10.17 WIB, there was no inundation in areas prone to tidal flooding, such as RT 002, RT 005 and RT 010 in RW 22,” said Vitus.
He assessed that this condition occurred after raising the main road and improving drainage at the local location.
“Officers continue to be on guard at the location monitoring, and currently, residents’ activities are running smoothly,” said Vitus.
Previously, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Class I Maritime Tanjung Priok Meteorological Station issued an early warning for coastal flooding (rob) on 18-26 November 2025.
As a result of the phenomenon of maximum sea water tide which coincides with the phenomenon of the new moon phase, it has the potential to increase the maximum sea water height in the form of coastal flooding or tidal flooding in the northern coastal area of Jakarta.
This phenomenon also caused the water level to rise at the Fish Market Sluice Gate so that it had Danger/Alert 1 status on Saturday (22/11) at 09.00 WIB and caused inundation in several areas of DKI Jakarta.
