died on Monday (8/12).God Bless shared the sad news via an upload on Instagram on Monday (8/12) morning.
No further information regarding the cause of Yahya Karya Kontakianto bin Moektio or Yaya Moektio was disclosed in the upload.

“We passed away early this morning (8/12) at 04.00 WIB at Fatmawati Hospital, Jakarta, our brother, Mr. Yahya Karya Kontakianto bin Moektio (Yaya Moektio),” read the subtitle God Bless.
“We from the extended God Bless family convey the news of deep sorrow.”
In the upload, God Bless also remembered their togetherness, including the contribution made by the drummer in the band.The band also prays for the families left behind.

“He is an important part of the history of God Bless and the world of Indonesian music, providing color and contributions that will never be forgotten,” they wrote.

Yaya Moektio filled the position as drummer for God Bless in 2009. He also had a role in the God Bless album entitled 36th which was released in 2009.
However, it was only discovered that he was no longer with God Bless in 2015. Akmal, the admin of the God Bless website at that time, revealed that Yaya had left God Bless since 2012, but did not reveal the reason.
Akmal denied that Yaya left God Bless because there was a problem.According to him, Yaya left after working on the 36th album project in 2009.
When Yaya left, the position of drummer for God Bless was filled by Fajar Satritama from Edane.
Meanwhile, the drummer who was born on August 30 1957 has also joined Gong 2000.
