Azman also confirmed that apart from his residents there were also residents from other villages who were arrested for stealing cables on the Petronas oil platform.
He said that his residents had stolen cables at the Petronas oil refinery three times, the second time they were detained and served time and then released.
Azman, as the Village Head, has often advised the perpetrators not to do similar things because the area has a lot of work and lots of fish. However, he still did it, causing embarrassment to Putik Village.
“In my area, if you want to work a lot, fish a lot, you don’t have to steal. Currently, the residents of my village strongly condemn Sabli’s behavior which has embarrassed the village,” he said.
