A number of operators, from Shell, BP-AKR to Vivo, have confirmed that fuel supplies have returned after receiving supplies from Pertamina Patra Niaga.
Shell said that sales of petrol have resumed at several of their gas stations in the Jakarta, Banten and West Java areas since Sunday (7/12).

“Shell Super is starting to be available again at Shell gas stations,” as quoted on the company’s official website.
Shell also announced that several other products such as Shell V-Power Diesel, Shell Select services, Shell Gas Station Workshops, and Shell Recharge facilities have returned to operation.However, for petrol, currently only Shell Super is available.
“Sorry, Shell V-Power is not available at Shell gas stations for an unknown time,” wrote Shell.Shell V-Power and Shell V-Power Nitro+ products are still not available.
Previously, Shell had stated that discussions on fuel imports were still ongoing through a business-to-business mechanism with Pertamina Patra Niaga.This condition has caused Shell gas stations to run out of gasoline stock in the last few weeks, including Shell Super, V-Power, and V-Power Nitro+.
Shell said it was ensuring that the products it supplied met its global operational safety and quality standards.
On Friday (5/12), PT Shell Indonesia finally received 100 thousand barrels of base fuel from PT Pertamina Patra Niaga.
Apart from Shell, the BP-AKR gas station is again serving customers queuing to buy fuel.BP-AKR has provided 92 octane gasoline products (BP 92) which were previously out of stock.
Vivo has also started reselling 92 octane fuel (Revvo 92) after receiving new oil supplies through Pertamina’s import quota since Monday (24/11).
Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Roberth MV Dumatubun said supplies for Vivo were provided according to government directions.
“The fuel supply distribution for Vivo Private BU is 100 thousand barrels (MB) which will be used for Vivo gas stations, after previously in the first stage 100 MB of fuel supply was also distributed to PT APR (BP-AKR),” said Roberth.
In line with the influx of new supplies, a number of private fuel prices have also experienced adjustments this December.
Quoting the official BP-AKR website, the price of BP Ultimate, which was IDR 13,260 in November, is now IDR 13,630 per liter.The price of BP 92 has increased from IDR 12,680 to IDR 13 thousand per liter.Meanwhile, BP Ultimate Diesel increased from IDR 14,410 to IDR 15,250 per liter.
Shell also made price adjustments starting December 1.Shell Super sells for IDR 13 thousand per liter, up from IDR 12,680 in November.
Shell V-Power increases from IDR 13,260 to IDR 13,630 per liter.Shell V-Power Diesel increased from IDR 14,410 to IDR 15,250 per liter, and Shell V-Power Nitro+ increased from IDR 13,480 to IDR 13,890 per liter.
