“We are very pleased with Google’s success – they have made great progress in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), and we continue to supply products to Google,” Nvidia wrote in the post.
However, they later added that “NVIDIA offers higher performance, flexibility, and ease of replacement compared to ASICs (application specific integrated circuits) such as those produced by Google.”
Apart from that, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman also congratulated Google on its Gemini 3.
“Congratulations to Google on the Gemini 3! It looks like a great model,” Altman wrote in X.
The post comes just days after news about Google’s Gemini 3 model and the Google-made chip that powers it became increasingly popular.
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff wrote in X that he would not return to ChatGPT after trying Google’s new model.
“The changes are incredible – logic capabilities, speed, images, videos, everything is sharper and faster. It feels like the world has just changed again,” he wrote, quoted from

According to reports
The Information
, Meta is in talks with Google regarding the purchase of its Tensor chips. The move comes after Anthropic announced in October that it plans to significantly expand its use of Google technology.
Google shares rose nearly 8 percent last week, while Nvidia shares fell a little more than 2 percent.
Furthermore, Google itself is not a small player in the field of AI.Together with ChatGPT, Gemini is one of the most popular AI chatbots in the world.
Google is also one of the few cloud service providers large enough to be called a “hyperscaler,” a term that refers to a small number of tech giants that rent cloud-based computing resources to other companies on a large scale.
Google services such as Search and Translate have also used AI since the early 2000s.
However, Google was quite surprised by the arrival of ChatGPT from OpenAI in 2022. Google management reportedly issued a “code red” in December 2022 after ChatGPT’s success seemed to have happened overnight.
According to OpenAI, ChatGPT now has at least 800 million weekly active users, while Google’s Gemini app has 650 million monthly active users.
