Tim Geypens received the best goal award given by his club, FC Emmen.
Through an upload on FC Emmen’s Instagram on Sunday (23/11), the club announced that Tim Geypens had won the award for the best goal scored by an FC Emmen player in the October edition.

Tim Geypens’ goal that received an award from the club was when he scored a spectacular goal against SC Cambuur.
The match took place on October 4.At that time, Emmen lost 2-3 to Cambuurย in the 2025/2026 Eersteย Divisie.
Emmen took the lead in the 32nd minute through Romano Postema’s goal.However, two minutes later Cambuur was able to score a 1-1 equalizer through Remco Balk.

Then Remco Balk was able to put Cambuur 2-1 up in the 55th minute and the hosts extended their lead again in the 73rd minute through Ichem Ferrah’s goal.
FC Emmen was finally able to reduce the deficit to 2-3 through Tim Geypens’ goal in the 81st minute.The goal was created through a thunderous kick from outside the penalty box which the Cambuur goalkeeper could not stop.
This goal led Tim Geypens to win the best goal award in the October 2025 edition.
Previously, Geypens also won the best goal award for August according to the Eerste Divisie against FC Den Bosch.
