reviewing and checking the stock of aid for flood disaster victims at the logistics warehouse at Soewondo Indonesian Air Force Base, Medan, Thursday (4/12).
Gibran has visited three locations affected by floods and landslides in Sumatra, starting from Agam Regency, West Sumatra;South Tapanuli, North Sumatra, and Aceh Singkil, Aceh, to ensure that aid distribution channels for victims run quickly and on target according to President Prabowo Subianto’s directions.
When he arrived at the location, Gibran went around the warehouse to check various basic necessities for the victims, and listened to the explanation from the Head of the Soewondo Air Base Territorial Service, Colonel Pas Firman Manurung.

Gibran saw firsthand the storage conditions of various aid supplies allocated for victims of flood and landslide disasters in the Sumatra region.
On this occasion, Gibran emphasized that the entire aid distribution process must proceed quickly, considering the high needs of the community in areas affected by floods and landslides.
Gibran asked that warehouse management, loading and unloading processes, and coordination between agencies continue to be improved so that there are no obstacles in distributing aid, especially to areas where access is still limited.
He also instructed that data on receipt and distribution of aid be managed in a transparent and integrated manner, so that all parties can monitor logistics movements accurately.
Gibran emphasized that President Prabowo’s direction was to ensure that all disaster victims were immediately handled, and that aid reached every region without exception.
All aid received from various parties through Soewondo Air Base will continue to be distributed to various areas, including Sibolga City, Central Tapanuli Regency, Aceh Tamiang Regency, Lhoksumawe City, Rembele, and various other areas.
Before leaving for Jakarta, Gibran told Bobby that he would return to visit the disaster site in the next week to ensure that the distribution of heavy equipment went smoothly.
