At the 3rd session of the G20 Summit in South Africa, Sunday (23/11), Gibran said that so far AI has not been able to provide equal benefits for all parties.

He believes that these benefits are concentrated in only a few large companies, which causes inequality.
“AI will determine economic power for decades to come. But currently its benefits are still very unequal, concentrated in a handful of companies,” said Gibran in his speech.
Gibran stated that in this case all parties must work together to make AI useful for all parties without exception.
Gibran emphasized that equal access to technology is a prerequisite for realizing a just future.
He stated that in order to eliminate inequality, Gibran emphasized the need to ensure digital transformation runs more fairly.
Gibran also encourages ethical AI governance and equal access to data, training systems and global digital platforms.
“This revolution must be fair and must benefit the people. The G20 must ensure that AI becomes a force for inclusion,” he said.
