Raymond/Joaquin reached their first BWF World Tour final after defeating Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin from Malaysia with a convincing score of 21-15, 21-15.
The victory over Goh/Nur felt special because the neighboring country’s pair are the second seeds at the 2025 Australian Open.

Raymond/Joaquin will face Fajar/Fikri who won over Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani in the semifinal match.
The final is not the final goal, Raymond/Joaquin are aiming for the title.There was no fear even though the opponent was the senior Fajar/Fikri who had a lot of experience.
“Praise God, we are very happy because we were able to beat the top pair, we are also happy to be able to make the All Indonesian Finals in men’s doubles. We just want to focus again for tomorrow, we want to win,” said Joaquin, quoted from the official PBSI release.
One of the ways Raymond/Joaquin prepares to face Fajar/Fikri is to learn how their fellow National Training Center players play.
“We came here with nothing to lose, not thinking about the results but how we can maximize the game and opportunities at this high level. We are grateful to be able to advance to the final.”
“Tomorrow we meet A Fajar and A Fikri, we have been training together for a long time so we already know each other’s strengths and weaknesses. We have to study again and memorize what their game is like. We are determined to give them the best fight,” said Indra.
