Two Colombian cities, Medellin and Bogotá, were named the cheapest cities to live in according to a survey of local residents.
In Medellin, 89 percent of respondents said eating at a restaurant was affordable, 83 percent said the same for drinking at a bar, and 94 percent agreed that buying coffee was cheap.
What’s interesting is that Jakarta is on the list of the cheapest cities based on a survey of local residents.Jakarta occupies 10th position, two levels above the Thai capital, Bangkok.
There is something surprising, because the two main metropolises in China are included in the list of cheap cities.According to 73 percent of Beijing residents and 72 percent of Shanghai residents, going to the theater will not cost much.
New Orleans was the only city in the United States to rank among affordable cities, scoring highly for live music (72 percent found it affordable) and drinking at bars (with an affordability score of 83 percent).
