The Recording Academy announced its completion on Friday (7/11) midnight Indonesian time.In this announcement, Kpop music made new history.
The KPop animated film Demon Hunters managed to gain four nominations, including Song of the Year.Three of the nominations came from the song Golden performed by the fictional group HUNTR/X.

Apart from that, BLACKPINK’s Rose won the Song of the Year and Record of the Year categories for the first time thanks to the APT song.with Bruno Mars.In total, the song received three nominations.
In Song of the Year, Golden and APT.will compete with Abracadabra (Lady Gaga), Anxiety (Doechii), DtMF (Bad Bunny), Luther (Kendrick Lamar and SZA), Manchild (Sabrina Carpenter), and Wildflower (Billie Eilish).
With Golden and APT achievements.These two songs became the first KPop songs to enter the prestigious main category of the Grammy Awards, specifically Record of the Year which focuses on the production aspect and Song of the Year which focuses on the songwriting aspect.

The achievement also marks the first Grammy nomination for K-pop music since BTS was nominated for My Universe, a collaborative single with global pop icon Coldplay, in 2023.
APT.is a song from Rosé BLACKPINK’s first full album, rosie.The song enjoyed global popularity, dominating major music charts in South Korea and abroad upon its release.
In September 2025, the BLACKPINK member won Song of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards in the United States for APT.
Meanwhile, Golden was performed by Korean-American artists Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami as members of the fictional girl group HUNTR/X in the KPop film Demon Hunters.
The song reached a milestone for Kpop by topping the US Billboard Hot 100 and the British Official Singles Chart Top 100.
The winners of the 2026 Grammy Awards will be announced February 1 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
