GP Ansor also deployed a team from the Special National Banser Disaster Response Unit (Bagana) to carry out mitigation and mapping of post-disaster needs.

This team then distributes aid to surrounding areas that need it, whether in the form of logistics needs or construction of road infrastructure, bridges, and education.
“Whatever is needed, all friends must use all their energy. If there are schools that are damaged, immediately repair them, help clean them, paint them, until they are fit again,” he said.
Apart from distributing it through the Disaster Care Banser Command Post at branch leadership level, his party also distributed aid directly to the community at the GP Ansor Post, Langkat Regency and Paya Prupuk Village, North Sumatra.
Meanwhile in Aceh, his party distributed aid through PC GP Ansor Aceh Tamiang.In West Sumatra, together with the entire Bagana team, they handed over aid to the Pauh Mosque and SD 02, Pauh District, where the affected residents were evacuated.
According to him, the distribution of this aid was carried out transparently and responsibly so that the benefits were felt directly by the affected residents.
“Since the disaster occurred, Ansor and Banser have moved to help residents,” said Addin.
Addin also asked Ansor cadres throughout Indonesia to be responsive considering that recently disasters have occurred everywhere.
According to him, currently GP Ansor through Bagana has carried out a national consolidation of Sumatra’s disaster response.
“Deploying Bagana personnel from the center to the regions for seven days and maybe even more, depending on the situation in the field. Bagana Riau personnel will help with disasters in Aceh, Bagana South Sumatra personnel will help in Aceh, then West Sumatra will be assisted by Bagana personnel from Lampung,” he said.
