Rockstar Games will release
Grand Theft Auto
(GTA) VI on November 19 2026, which was previously scheduled for May 2026. This announcement adds to the long wait for fans of this popular franchise.
“Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on Thursday, November 19 2026,” wrote Rockstar Games in its announcement on Instagram, Friday (7/11).

Rockstar expressed its apologies for making fans have to wait longer.They argue that this time allows them to perfect the game.
“We apologize for this additional delay, which we realize has been a long wait. However, these additional months will allow us to finish the game with the level of refinement you expect and deserve,” he wrote.
“Even though the wait time is a little longer, we’re excited for players to be able to explore the vast territory of Leonida and return to modern Vice City,” he added.
Previously, Rockstar Games said that the release of GTA VI had been postponed until May 2026, when it was previously scheduled to be released this fall.

The trailer hinted at a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde duo and attracted more than 100 million views within 24 hours.
