SPPG
panicked and crashed into a fence and a student at SDN 01 Kalibaru, Cilincing, North Jakarta.
“In the past two days, the main driver was sick so KSPPG decided to have a backup driver. After we checked, thank God the driver had a driver’s license, maybe he just lacked experience,” said Dadan at Koja Regional Hospital, North Jakarta, Thursday (11/12).
Dadan said that his party was still continuing to investigate the incident. Moreover, said Dadan, when the school gate is closed, the SPPG car should park in front and not enter the school area.

“Because when the doors are closed, they usually park in the front. And usually the cars arrive earlier than the children. So when the children are lined up and the doors are closed, those who usually park in the front,” he said.
Dadan also suspected that the substitute driver, Adi Irawan, panicked while driving his vehicle. Moreover, the road at that location is slightly uphill.
“Indeed, the road is quite uphill and we think there was panic when changing gear from second to first, resulting in the wrong pedal being pressed,” he said.
Furthermore, Dadan said that so far there have been technical instructions (juknis) regarding the use of SPPG cars.In the future, he continued, his party will carry out evaluations so that similar incidents do not happen again.
“We have been doing this all this time, even in our technical guidelines it is written that cars must be checked every day before being used for delivery. And with the case of driver replacement, this seems to be a new insight for the National Nutrition Agency so that KSPPG carefully replaces or chooses a backup driver with the same qualifications,” he said.
Previously, a car delivering free nutritious meals (MBG) hit students at SDN 01 Kalibaru, Cilincing, North Jakarta who were carrying out activities on the school field on Thursday (11/12).
This incident caused 21 people, who were teachers and students, to become victims and had to undergo medical treatment. The police confirmed that there were no casualties in this incident.
After the incident, the replacement driver for the SPPG car named Adi Irawan and the kernet with the initials MRR were arrested. From the temporary inspection, the driver admitted that he stepped on the wrong pedal of the vehicle.
“So the driver’s statement was that the school was at the top, the incline. Well, coincidentally he wanted to deliver the food to the school, this is temporary information, not definite, temporary,” said Cilincing Police Chief Commissioner Bobi Subasri to reporters.
