in the wrong
ravine
in the Belu region, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) on Sunday (9/11).
Before he was found dead, he had left his house to buy cigarettes.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Belu Police, AKP Rio Penggabean, said that Fransiskus said goodbye to his house on Jalan Pemuda, RT 04, RW 02, Tulamalae Village, West Atambua District, Belu, at around 18.55 WITA, last Friday (7/11).

“Based on information from the family, the victim left his house to buy cigarettes. However, he did not return until he was found dead,” said Rio, as reported by

Monday (9/11).
Rio said that Fransiskus’ body was initially found by a resident named Hubertus Lau in the Sabanese ravine, Jalan Trans Timor kilometer 6, Fatuketi Village, Kakuluk Mesak District, Belu, Sunday (9/11) at around 10.00 WITA.
However, Rio has not said much regarding the cause of death and Francis’ condition when he was found.
According to him, Francis’ death is still under investigation.Belu Police will also autopsy Francis’ body.
“Still under investigation. An autopsy will be carried out as soon as possible, but we are still coordinating with the NTT Regional Police,” he said.
