“I’ve been crying since morning,” said one mother who fled with her two children.He showed his tent which was submerged in water after heavy rain overnight.
The woman, who did not give her name, admitted that she had difficulty caring for her two children after several family members, including her husband, were killed as a result of Israeli attacks since October 2023.
“I asked for help, at least a decent tent, mattress and blanket. I want my children to have proper clothes,” he said, as reported by Aljazeera, Sunday (16/11).

UNRWA Head Philippe Lazzarini said assistance for tents and other equipment was now increasingly urgent.
“Gaza is now wet and cold. The refugees face a harsh winter without basic equipment to protect themselves from the rain and cold air,” said Philippe.
Many residents had no choice but to remain in flooded and fragile tents because their homes were destroyed and other shelters were full.
