Hong Kong authorities said the death toll from devastating fires in several apartment buildings reached 83 people in the early hours of Friday (28/11).

Of the 83 people confirmed dead, one person was a 37-year-old firefighter and two were Indonesian citizens who worked as migrant domestic workers.

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto exchanged souvenirs with Queen Máxima after a bilateral meeting at the State Palace, Jakarta, Thursday (27/11).
Prabowo gave three souvenirs in the form of flower vases from the North Coast of Java as well as handmade silk Batik “Boketan” typical of Pekalongan, Central Java with purple nuances with floral motifs and miniatures of traditional traditional houses.
“A souvenir… This is a vase. This is from the north coast of Java,” said Prabowo, quoting his statement.
Massive layoffs in Singapore reach almost 20 thousand, what’s going on?
Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) noted that nearly 20 thousand people would be laid off throughout 2025.
MTI recorded this year’s unemployment rate at 2 percent, up from 2024 which was 1.9 percent.
According to MTI, nearly 19,800 staff have lost their jobs this year.
