Fire
occurred at the Tebu Hotel, Jalan L. L. R. E. Martadinata, Bandung Wetan District, Bandung City, West Java, on Friday (14/11).The incident was reported to firefighters at 18.30 WIB.
Head of the Bandung City Fire and Rescue Service, Soni Bachtiar, said that as soon as they received the report, officers immediately moved to the location.Soni said the officers’ response time was around three minutes.
“The fire is known to have started in the hotel sauna room. Until now, the cause of the fire is still being investigated to determine the source and trigger factors,” he said, when contacted.

A total of seven fire engines were deployed to the location.After the fire was successfully controlled, officers carried out a cooling process to ensure there were no hot spots remaining.
There were no victims in this incident.The sauna room which was the starting point of the fire was empty when the incident occurred.The fire spread to the meeting hall and burned around a third of the room.
Soni confirmed that hotel activities had returned to normal.Only the sauna room cannot be used temporarily until the inspection and recovery is complete.
He added that the entire handling process took place without significant obstacles.The crew’s quick response helped prevent the fire from spreading to other parts of the building.
