Rizky Ridho was nominated for the Puskas Award with the goal he scored with the Kemayoran Tigers against Arema FC in the 2024/2025 Liga 1 competition on March 10 2025.
Rizky Ridho’s goal process was complicated and unusual for a central defender.The goal occurred through a counter-attack from the back line.

Ridho first cut off an Arema player’s through ball in the penalty box.He then controlled the ball at the end line before passing the ball to Ryo Matsumura.
It didn’t stop there, Ridho was able to read the situation and decided to run to the empty left side and was then fed by Ryo Matsumura.
After seeing Arema goalkeeper Lucas Frigeri in a position slightly forward of the crossbar, Ridho immediately fired a long-range shot that Frigeri could not anticipate.
This goal was then nominated for the 2025 Puskas Award. He became the first Indonesian player to be nominated since the Puskas Award was first held in 2009.
