WH-Project founder William Hartanto said investor optimism regarding conglomerate shares which were considered to have the potential to enter the MSCI index contributed to the surge in the JCI until it again reached the 8,300 level at the close of trading yesterday.
According to him, this sentiment accelerates the pace of market strengthening, strengthening confidence that the JCI has the potential to set another record high.

“The potential for large issuers to enter the MSCI index will increase buying interest and accelerate the strengthening of the JCI,” said William in his daily research.
With this sentiment, William projects that the JCI will move in a range
support
8,224 and
resistance
8,350 today.He also recommended a number of stocks, namely WIFI, RALS, ITMG and BRMS.
Likewise, Binaartha Sekuritas analyst Ivan Rosanova estimates that the JCI will test the Fibonacci resistance level at 8,362 today.
If it succeeds in breaking through, he said, the market has the potential to continue its rally towards the 8,600-8,700 area, as long as the index still stays above the SMA-20 line and minor support at 8,163.
“As long as the JCI remains above support at 8,163, positive momentum can continue towards the next target at 8,600-8,700,” said Ivan in his daily research.
He also predicts that the JCI will move at level

8,061, 7,986, and 7,892 and
resistance
8,362, 8,486, and 8,595 today.Ivan also recommended a number of shares, namely ICBP, MDKA, PGAS, PTBA and SMGR.
JCI closed at level 8,318 on Wednesday (5/11) afternoon.The stock index rose 76.61 points or up 0.93 percent from previous trading.
Quoting RTI Infokom, investors made transactions amounting to IDR 18.39 trillion with the number of shares traded amounting to 35.05 billion shares.
At yesterday’s close, 284 stocks rose, 357 corrected, and 168 stagnated.
